Summit Trio

Emily Paris

Emily is the business manager and violinist with the trio.  She has played violin for a good portion of her life, beginning to study at age 5.  Originally from Billings MT, Emily has studied with Nancy Critelli, Eloise Kirk, Randy Tracy, Johan Jonsson, and Bozeman's favorite Carrie Krause.

Currently Emily is the Operations Manager for the Bozeman Symphony.  Emily holds a BA in Business Marketing from Montana State University and has plans to continue her education in both business and music.  Besides playing with the Summit Trio, Emily has played with several symphony orchestras around the state but remains loyal to the Bozeman Symphonic Orchestra.  She also performs with the Intermountain Opera Association and the Montana Ballet Company's production of the Nutcracker.

Christa Sheasby

Christa is a violinist and founding member of the Summit Trio.  She started playing violin in her home town of Great Falls, MT at the age of 5.  Christa has studied with Carol Helseth, Joe Jewitt, Byron Wallis, and Johan Jonsson.  She is also a certified Suzuki violin teacher in the Bozeman Suzuki Violin Program.  In addition to her violin teaching, Christa has a Kindermusik program in Bozeman and Livingston.  Christa performs with the Bozeman Symphonic Orchestra, several state Symphonic Orchestras, the Intermountain Opera Association, and the Montana Ballet Company's production of the Nutcracker.

Christa received a BA in Music Education from Montana State University in December of 2006. 

Charles Martin

Charlie is the founding cellist with the trio.  He started playing the cello at age 4, and has a bachelors degree in music performance from Montana State University.

Originally from Saint Paul, MN, Charlie has most recently studied with Peter Landeen, and Ilse-Mari Lee of Bozeman. 

Charlie has soloed with the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra after winning the college division of the MASO competition and is a wonderful musician.  Charlie's cello playing will be featured on an upcoming hip-hop album.

Charlie performs with the Bozeman Symphonic Orchestra, several state Symphonic Orchestras, and the Intermountain Opera Association.
